The retail sales volume index includes retail sales both in retail sale enterprises (EMTAK G 52) and in the enterprises of sale, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and retail sale of automotive fuel (EMTAK G 50).
The data may be adjusted during the year after the end of the reference period.
In 2008 a new version of the classification of economic activities EMTAK 2008 was implemented in the EU. The population of economic units changed according to EMTAK 2008 (based on NACE Rev. 2). The data according to the new population are presented in table TA0034: Retail sales volume index, 2005 = 100 (quarters).
